Hôtel de Crillon, suites on Place de la Concorde, Paris

Where a square becomes a residence

The suites are the reason Hôtel de Crillon holds its position at the summit of Paris hospitality. Set behind a classical eighteenth century facade on Place de la Concorde, each one is built on a scale closer to a private apartment than a hotel room: Rivolta Carmignani linen, marble bathrooms warmed from below, a silence maintained by soundproofing throughout.

The design keeps the building's historic bones intact while letting comfort surface quietly, in stone, in light, in the absence of noise. L'Écrin holds a Michelin star at the ground floor, Les Ambassadeurs remains one of the city's reference cocktail addresses, and the indoor heated pool, fireplace included, adds an unexpected sensory note rarely found in central Paris.

La Suite selected this hotel because it translates architectural heritage into suite living with real restraint, rather than spectacle. Place de la Concorde, briefly, becomes a private address.
