The Suites at Le Bourbon in Courchevel: Chapitre Six's New Confidential Retreat
BY Jules Peulet

Forget the traditional Savoyard chalet and its stereotypes. In the heart of Courchevel 1850, the iconic Les 3 Vallées hotel transforms this winter under a new name: Le Bourbon. Taken over by Chapitre Six group, this new 5-star "skis-on" property abandons ostentation for a muted aesthetic worthy of a London private club. An intimate look at this ultra-exclusive boutique hotel with just three suites, ushering in a new era of alpine luxury.
From the Beaumier Legacy to the Chapitre Six Signature
Ideally located on Park City Street, in the highly coveted Golden Triangle of Courchevel, the establishment is undergoing a spectacular transformation for the winter season. Under the impetus of the Chapitre Six group (which succeeds the Beaumier group), Le Bourbon breaks free from classic mountain codes.
The ambition is clear: to create a winter sanctuary at the heart of the resort's vibrant energy, while offering absolute privacy. Once you cross the threshold, the glare of the snow fades to give way to the amber warmth of a refuge designed for aesthetes.

The Design: The Elegance of an Alpine Private Club
The true luxury of Le Bourbon lies in its architectural rarity. Here, warm and noble materials dictate the atmosphere: dark woodwork, deep velvet, English fabrics and thick carpets. The lighting, skillfully dimmed, creates a cinematic aura. It is a place where one enters after a day of skiing "like closing the door of one's own chalet", to nestle into a deep armchair facing the fireplace, cocktail in hand.

The Bourbon Suites Guide: A Luxury of Rarity
Of the 31 rooms in the establishment, only three suite typologies have been imagined, making them the most coveted accommodations at Le Bourbon this winter. Designed as private apartments, they all offer outdoor space (balcony or terrace).
The Junior Suite: The Intimate Setting With its 34 m², the Junior Suite is the perfect retreat for a couple. Equipped with a King Size bed (or twin beds upon request), it can accommodate up to 3 people. The space is articulated around warm tones, elegant woodwork and an inviting living area that encourages disconnection. The bathroom, equipped with a shower and/or bathtub, extends this experience of absolute comfort. Its balcony or terrace allows you to enjoy the crisp Alpine air in complete privacy.
The Junior Suite Slope View: The exclusive panorama Featuring the same generous volumes of 34 m² and capacity for 3 guests with a King Size bed, this suite stands out for its major asset: breathtaking views over Courchevel's snow-covered slopes. Waking up to the ballet of early skiers or admiring the snow grooming machines at nightfall from your private balcony is a true privilege. The interior design, blending wood touches and refined textiles, opens onto this hypnotic white tableau. It is also equipped with a shower or bathtub for après-ski.
The Bourbon Suite: The crown jewel This is the property's Master Suite. Spanning 50 m², the Bourbon Suite redefines mountain living space. Accommodating up to 3 guests around a King Size bed, it offers majestic volumes where the living room stands as a true place for living and entertaining. The decoration, adorned with artistic frames and mid-century accented furnishings, reinforces this sense of total exclusivity. It features a bedroom with private balcony and a spacious bathroom equipped with a bathtub, ideal for rejuvenation.

What is the price of a suite at Bourbon Courchevel?
The exclusivity of Courchevel 1850 is reflected in the Bourbon's pricing, which offers rates that systematically include breakfast.

Junior Suite Slope View (34 m²): The mountain panorama requires a slight supplement. Expect from €1,855 per night (non-refundable rate) and €2,050 per night for the flexible option.
Bourbon Suite (50 m²): From €2,530 per night for 2 adults (non-refundable rate). For more flexibility, the rate with free cancellation is €2,800 per night.
To note
The slope view represents a supplement of approximately €135 to €150 per night compared to the standard Junior Suite. The displayed rates are per night, for two adults, taxes and fees included (excluding any resort tax), as observed for a stay this winter.

Gastronomy and Contrast Therapy: the art of après-ski
The Bourbon experience extends beyond the suites. Catering has been entrusted to Michelin-starred chef Simone Zanoni, who oversees Simonetta, a table with generous Italian inspiration. He revisits Alpine classics with meticulous attention to detail. As the day winds down, the tempo slows at the hotel's cocktail bar, punctuated by the sound of vinyl records, before heading to the spa. The latter offers a refined approach with its "Contrast Therapy", alternating heat and cold (ice baths and sauna) to awaken the body and optimize muscle recovery after skiing.

Conclusion: Should you book at Bourbon?
Going against the grain of vast, sometimes impersonal Alpine palaces, Le Bourbon cultivates discretion, refined design and bespoke service. With its "ski-in / ski-out" access and ultra-limited inventory, this new 5-star property will undoubtedly be the most coveted and exclusive address of the season. If you seek the intimacy of a private club combined with the service of a great hotel, this is where you should set down your luggage.
