Within this single-bedroom structure, the proportions follow the rhythm of Provençal mas architecture — low ceilings that concentrate warmth, walls of dressed limestone that absorb the day's heat and release it slowly after dark, thresholds that make you conscious of passing through them. Material World The palette is the landscape itself. Raw stone meets linen in tones that shift between chalk and ochre depending on the hour. Surfaces carry the slight imperfection of hand-applied render, the kind that registers differently in morning light than at noon. There is no attempt at contrast for its own sake — the room earns its coherence through material honesty rather than decorative intervention. Spatial Poetry Configured for up to five, the suite extends its logic outward rather than upward: a single bedroom anchored by considered volume, one bathroom that operates as a private ritual space rather than a functional afterthought. The transition between interior and exterior is the defining spatial gesture — the olive grove does not sit outside the room so much as it completes it, the silver canopy mediating Mediterranean light into something cooler and more legible. The View as Architecture From within the compound, the five-hectare grove structures every sightline. Trunks at irregular intervals, the particular grey-green of olive foliage, the way afternoon light fractures through it — these are not incidental to the experience of this suite. They are its fourth wall. The geological silhouette of Les Baux holds the horizon to the north, a reminder that this landscape has been inhabited with intention for centuries.
