Junior Suite with Sea View, Elia Mykonos Resort, Áno Merá

At 33 square metres, the Junior Suite with Sea View operates with the economy of a well-resolved architectural brief. Volume is managed precisely, enough space to move with ease, not enough to dilute the suite's singular proposition: the Aegean, framed and held at every sightline.

Spatial Poetry

The Cycladic logic that governs Elia Mykonos Resort's whitewashed volumes extends inward here. Beamed ceilings impose a low, deliberate horizon, drawing the eye outward rather than upward. The single bedroom reads as a retreat in the truest sense, contained, purposeful, stripped of the decorative noise that lesser island properties mistake for character.

Material World

Tiled floors carry the thermal memory of the island's vernacular architecture, cool underfoot against midday heat, hardwearing against the fine Aegean grit that finds its way into everything. Whitewash surfaces absorb and diffuse light rather than reflect it, shifting in tone from chalk-blue at dawn to a warm limestone register by late afternoon. The material palette is limited by design: restraint as a formal position.

The View as Architecture

The sea view here is not an amenity, it is a structural element. Positioned within Elia Mykonos Resort's direct relationship to one of the island's longest sandy stretches, the suite's outlook performs spatial work: flattening depth, introducing movement, calibrating the silence of the interior against the ambient texture of the water. Light enters not as spectacle but as a slow, architectural event across the day.

Exclusive Rituals

Private beach access and a full-service spa position the suite within a coherent experiential sequence (from room to garden, garden to shoreline, shoreline to water) without interruption or visual friction. Mediterranean dining completes the circuit without demanding departure from the resort's considered design vocabulary.
