Junior Suite with Pool View, Elia Mykonos Resort, Áno Merá

At 26 square metres, the Junior Suite with Pool View operates on the principle that containment is a form of clarity. Within its whitewashed shell, the Cycladic vocabulary is applied without compromise, tiled flooring that retains the coolness of the stone beneath, beamed ceilings that intercept the Aegean midday light and redistribute it in measured intervals across the walls.

Material World

The suite's material register is consistent with Elia Mykonos Resort's broader architectural logic: plaster surfaces worn to a matte finish, textiles that read as weightless against the heat of the island, and tiled details that reference the indigenous craft tradition without pastiche. Nothing competes. The palette is edited to the point of silence.

The View as Architecture

The pool occupies the visual field with precision. From inside the suite, the water's surface functions as a secondary ceiling, reflective, shifting, importing light from outside into the interior geometry. This is the suite's primary spatial event: the threshold between the built volume and the landscaped water dissolves in a way that makes the room feel larger than its footprint suggests.

Exclusive Rituals

Access to the resort's full-service spa, private beach on one of Mykonos's longest sandy stretches, and Mediterranean dining are folded into the experience. The olive and palm-lined gardens that buffer the property from the seafront lend the approach a deliberate deceleration, each step away from the beach a return to the suite's own quietude. For a room of this scale, the surrounding infrastructure carries significant weight, and Elia Mykonos deploys it with restraint.
